This website is dedicated to promoting skill in the Word of Righteousness. Desperately in need of revival, our country and world are showing symptoms of feverish materialism, thirst for power and fame, hunger for fleshly pleasures, and complete systemic spiritual malnutrition. Recent years have revealed a people who have no discernment of the difference between good and evil. It is manifested in our television shows, movies and computer games, in our choices of clothing and pastimes, and even in our local and national elections. Hebrews (5:13-14 NIV) says:
"Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained them-selves to distinguish good from evil."
The King James Version speaks of the "infant" who still lives on milk as being "unskillful in the word of righteousness" and the mature as being able "to dis-cern good from evil."

Hebrews (6:1-3 NIV) goes on to describe what "milk" is:
"Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the found-ation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrec-tion of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permit-ting, we will do so."

These 6 doctrines are very important to our faith; but they are very basic. Let us make sure we have our solid faith foundation, and then go on to the deeper things of God, as the writer of Hebrews exhorts.

On the "Going Deeper" page you may begin to explore some of the things that Hebrews also explores. The aim of this teaching is to lead you into a deep, vibrant and worshipful relationship with God by His Son Jesus Christ and through the power and enablement of the Holy Spirit.
